Manually Enter a Lost or Stolen Prescription Pad Notification

Lost or Stolen Prescription Pad Notifications can be entered manually from a Prescriber or Organisation Profile.

Manually enter a Lost or Stolen Prescription Pad Notification

  1. Search for Prescriber or Organisation, and open the record.

  2. Scroll down to and open the Notifications section.

    Any existing notifications will display in the grid.

  3. Click New Notification, then Lost or Stolen Prescription Pad.

  4. Enter the details for either a Notifying Practitioner or Notifying Organisation.

    You must enter either a Notifying Practitioner and a Notifying Organisation, but not both.

    Enter a Notifying Practitioner

    1. In the Notifying Practitioner section, click Notifier Search.

      The Practitioner Search popup displays

    2. Search for the practitioner by entering at least one character of the practitioner's First Name and/or Surname and then clicking Search.

      Alternatively, you can search by Unique ID.

    3. In the Practitioner Search Results, select the checkbox for the relevant practitioner, then click OK.

    Enter a Notifying Organisation

    1. In the Notifying Organisation section, click Notifier Search.

      The Organisation Search popup displays

    2. Search for the organisation by entering in Details or Unique ID then clicking Search.

    3. In the Search Results, select the checkbox for the relevant organisation, then click OK.

  5. Enter the Date reported. Default is today. Mandatory

  6. Enter Date of loss or theft.

  7. Select an Assignee

  8. Enter any Notifier Comments.

  9. Enter Prescription details, providing as much information as is available. Stationery type is Mandatory.

  10. The Practitioner section may already be populated. If you want to add another practitioner, click Add Practitioner, then search for and select a practitioner.

  11. The Patient section can be used to add a patient to the notification. Click Add Patient, then search for and select a patient.

    If you created the notification from an organisation profile, the organisation information is displayed.

  12. When all the mandatory fields are filled in, click Save.
